An AMG C 63 S vehicle with chassis number (WDD2050871F939968) have also been recalled, as well as an AMG GT 43 vehicle according to chassis number (WDD2906581A008287). This recall was due to a defect in the software version of the Electronic Stability System for these vehicles (ESP) as it does not match the specifications of the brakes installed on it and it is unable to adapt with it. As a result, it will not react properly during the sway operations and will fail to supply pressure to the brakes, which leads to its failure to react as required and its failure while driving. Accordingly, the company will update the control unit program in the electronic stability system (ESP) in the affected vehicles.

These recalls confirm the efforts made by the authority in the field of traffic safety in cooperation with car dealers, to preserve the lives and safety of consumers, and to provide the necessary protection for consumers through its constant keenness to conduct continuous reviews of all products offered in the Sultanate’s markets.
