These recalls come due to the presence of gaps in the air seal from the front between the hood and the front grille which leads to air leakage during high speed and to vibration in the hood affecting the hood latch. Also, fractures may occur on it with the possibility of separating the latch from the hood which leads to  Opening the bonnet and blocking the driver's view which increases the risk of accidents and noise due to bonnet vibration. Therefore, the company will replace the engine mount cover lock.

These recalls confirm the efforts made by the authority in the field of traffic safety in cooperation with car agencies to preserve the lives and safety of consumers as well as to provide the necessary protection for them in line with its continuous keenness to conduct continuous reviews of all products offered in the Sultanate’s markets.
