The Consumer Protection Authority in cooperation with Saud Bahwan Automotive Group has launched a recall campaign for 5062 Toyota

Highlander, RAV4, Land Cruiser and 2022 Lexus LX cars. Where 4712 Toyota Highlander, RAV4 and Land Cruiser cars were recalled for the year of production from February 4, 2022 to April 4, 2022. Depending on the chassis numbers from (5TDLB3CH0L000186) to (JTMRW3FVXND565981) and the recall of 350 cars LX600, LX500D, NX for the year of production February 4, 2022 to April 4, 2022 AD, depending on the chassis numbers from (JTJCKDEZ5N5002159) to (JTJPBBCXXN4000856).


This recall comes due to a defect in the electronic control unit of the vehicle's slip and stability system which requires the driver to turn off the control system manually when the brake pedal is still pressed and the vehicle stability control system stops working and cannot be restarted.


These recalls confirm the efforts made by the authority in the field of traffic safety in cooperation with car agencies to preserve the lives and safety of consumers as well as to provide the necessary protection for them in line with its
